1. 碰到一次叫偶然，碰到两次叫巧合，碰到三次叫规律，碰到四次叫定律，碰到五次叫命运。第一次的经历在第二次以后会常常被想起。第二次是曲线的顶点，不仅最高，而且方向在这里改变了：巧合的好事令你愉快（好巧哦）；巧合的霉事令你洒脱（巧合而已）。第三次是生活的转变：有规律的好事令你自得，有规律的霉事令你沮丧。第四次是生活的本质：定律下的好事令你索然无味，定律下的霉事令你麻木堕落。第五次是上帝的玩笑：好命的人担心转运，贱命的人意志消沉。

2. 跟上帝show hand？跟命运搏斗？开玩笑，这个世界上只有伟人Chairman Mao能与天斗与地斗其乐无穷，最后还是得去见马克思。

3. 要开心。不开心，怎么活下去？小Mark哥不开心，挂了。小Ken哥开心果，没挂。

生活的乐趣从哪里来？生活的乐趣要自己来。

自己的乐趣从哪里来？自己的乐趣要放开来。

好，开一个题目看看有没有人愿意来写文章——算续写比赛好了。开头一句话是：“地球上最后一个人坐在屋里，有人敲门。”

啊？这种也能续写吗？好像可以的吧。看看有没有朋友愿意写一小块东东出来呢？我还在想后面咋写呢。当然，我这种人每次提出什么号召啊之类的能有人精神上响应我我已经感动得流鼻涕了，所以我自己应该想一个东东，到时候没人理我我也可以自己贴一个，耶~！

感谢看这个space的朋友，虽然以前狂更新但没什么内容，现在不怎么更新但还是没什么内容，但是你们给鸟我支持使我在这个无奈的土地上继续苟且着。我初中离开家里去住校，好像那时候还没觉得怎样，大学到外面读更是觉得生活很精彩。来了美国其实也才一年半，换成在大学才大二上呢，可是我很累，啊这个具体就没必要说了，祥林嫂是没有人喜欢的。好啦好啦，换回正题续写文章。

我准备了点奖品作为刺激——啊当然不是跟麦当劳叔叔合影这么无聊啦。我的奖品是杜克大学布莱恩活动中心二楼麦当劳套餐一份（推荐1号，4号，5号或6号，以及McRib或新出的Spicy堡）。呃希望大家不要嫌弃，这是我步行所能达到的最经济美味的食肆咯。

关于开展“我爱生活”精神文明建设活动的通知

各“美漂”同志：

根据老天精神，结合北美实际，即日起展开“我爱生活”精神文明建设活动。各同志结合自身特长、当地实际情况展开活动。活动最终将评出一等奖一名（星巴克Gift Card$10三张）、二等奖一名（必胜客Gift Card$10一张）、三等奖三名（大红花一朵）、优胜奖若干（小红花一朵）。本活动并设最佳新人、最佳勇气、最佳视觉效果及终身成就奖（可以获赠小红花花瓣一片）。活动截止日：2006年5月1日。

活动范围：以北美法学院学生为主，欢迎全球各界朋友参加。

活动内容：可以包括“每日一菜”、“我的衣橱”、“My Outlines”、“X州游”、“生活大杂烩”……可自创栏目，名目不限。

活动形式：可图可文亦可图文并茂，鼓励采用各种媒体。建议在space发布。

活动要求：健康向上，不得渲染反党反社会主义暴力色情凶杀封建余孽……（当中根据各位觉悟自己填），要照顾到可能的小朋友读者。

其它：暂时还没想好，有问题的发挥一下主观能动性，然后跟“我爱生活”精神文明建设活动领导小组请示汇报。

长期以来，北美法学院留学生倍受肉体和精神的摧残，时时刻刻受着里外不是人、误上贼船、……（当中根据各位实际自己填）的困扰。同志们，再也不能这样活！！Law Students们今天站起来啦！让我们紧密地团结在以生活为核心的领导小组周围，解放思想，实事求是（插播高三政治题：为什么说邓小平理论的核心是“解放思想，实事求是”？[30分论述题]），高喊“要活着，更要生活”的伟大口号，坚持“GPA重要，女/男朋友更重要”的基本原则，坚持“读JD好，做DJ也妙”的伟大路线，为把我们地生活建设成为富强民主文明的社会主义现代化生活而奋斗！

Money

Money can make us happy. This is how we are supposed to live. For sure, I am not sarcastic - I am serious, but not serious enough to articulate a well-defended argument for the supremacy of money. From time to time, one could argue from a moral perspective that there are plenty of things far more meaningful and interesting than money, or simply refer to the criticism of worshiping money. But almost everybody agrees that "enough money" is generally required, the extent of which depends on the demand. Let our demand grow, money never gets to be "enough"; to make money "enough", we need to keep our demand steady - now you know, we call it peaceful life or, sometimes, boring life, the latter of which looks far from happiness.

However, I am not actually talking about the pleasure of spending. Money makes me happy because it takes away the worries from me: not all worries, but enough to leave me room to care about other worries: the spiritual life. Achievements in personal interest or love are not guaranteed on money, of course, but we definitely are able to develope them fully.

I am trying to do myself a favor, pretexting money to explain any unhappiness from time to time. I am sorry, money: you definitely do not deserve such unfair treatment.

My seminar section for Prof. Metzloff's Distinctive Aspects met at April's house today. A Japanese and a Korean didn't show up.

Lots of beers and wines. I haven't touched alcohol for long, but this time, it tasted good. Does that mean I become Peter P. again?

The food is not impressive generally, except April's easy-making but delicious "shrimp, potato, blablabla and rice". Oh, I was really hungry and that seemed to be all I wanted. If you consume bundles of McJunk for days and can still impose negative comment such as "not impressive" on western dishes, you must be a Chinese boy (or girl, of course).

Shaimerden is Kazak and we're the only Asians in the room. He spent 6 months in Beijing and naturally we exchanged ideas on many basic cultrure knowledges, as we Chinese usually do with Japanese, Korean and anyone who speaks Chinese. On a party, you can perceive the subtle construction of world political map: developed and developing; former colonies and the Third World; Americans and Latinos. Generally speaking, if China were a former British colony, or located in where Mexico is now located; or our native language is either English or Spanish - what would I say, Chinese will be dominant? Janyves is an SJD from Saint Lucia with a population of 150,000 - less competition, diversity-minority, former British colony, native English spoken, and plus the status as an independent country - perfect! I would strongly propose communism to be considered an important contribution to the diversity of the world! @_@ Just kidding. Even we are not sure whether we are Com or Cap these days.

Anyway, music and alcohol can always pull all people together. We took silly pictures and some Latinos became interested in China. The latter part, I would say, is quite good. Tomer from Israel was crazy dressed up in tooters (do I spell it correct?) - sexy shorts and blond wig plus a butterfly wing. Later the wing was on my back and pictures were taken - they called me Peter Pan. If the wing is on my breast, I'm an organic product, right? I'm quite sensitive about organic products these days ...

I miss the wings ...

By the way, yes, I brought a combination of fruits as my contribution to the potluck - I don't really have the mood to cook.

Nice event. Get to know each other more.
